A Virtual Workshop

This session is designed to provide advice for anyone who is interested in introducing topics related to video game music into their existing courses/modules designed for non-music students (such as Music Appreciation) or creating new modules/courses that focus specifically on video game music at post-secondary/university level.

Panelists for this session include:

Dr. Stephanie Lind, Associate Professor, Queen’s University

Dr. Matthew Thompson, Assistant Professor, University of Michigan

This workshop is part of SSSMG’s High Score: Teaching Game Music in Higher Education initiative. High Score is a series of ludomusicology pedagogy workshops and events designed to provide tools, resources, and advice to anyone who teaches music in higher or further education and wants to include game music in their teaching practice.
