DESCRIPTION:We are now accepting proposals for Ludo2020 \, the Ninth Europe
 an Conference on Video Game Music and Sound\, taking place at the Universi
 ty of Malta\, April 24th-25th next year.\n\nPlease share our Call for Pape
 rs poster online and around your institutions.\n\nWe welcome proposals on 
 all aspects of sound and music in games.\n\nThis year\, we are particularl
 y interested in papers that support the conference theme of ‘Participati
 on\, Performance\, and the Body’. Papers on this topic may include:\n\n 
 	Representations of the body through sound and music in games\n 	Performan
 ce of gender/sexuality and game sound\n 	Physical interactivity with music
  and games\n 	Dance and drama as lenses for conceptualizing game audio\n 	
 Voice and game sound\n 	Game music and accessibility\n\nPresentations shou
 ld last twenty minutes and will be followed by questions. Please submit yo
 ur paper proposal (c.250 words) with a short provisional bibliography by e
 mail to ludomusicology@gmail.com by January 6th 2020. We aim to communicat
 e the programme decisions by January 20th 2020. If you require more inform
 ation\, please email the organizers.\n\nWe encourage practitioners and com
 posers to submit proposals for showcasing practice as research.\n\nThe con
 ference will feature as a keynote speaker:\n\nProf. Hillegonda Rietveld\, 
 Professor of Sonic Culture at London South Bank University\, musician and 
 electronic music specialist\, editor of Hear the Music\, Play the Game.\n\
